Kristy Van Kirk, M.D

Kristy Van Kirk, MD, is an experienced physician who offers integrative medicine services for patients at Healthy Lifestyle Medicine in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Her passion lies in empowering women to achieve their best health, body-mind-soul, with a focus on supplements, hormones, peptides, nutrition, gut health, physical functionality, bioenergetics, and mindset. She served 10 years in the conventional ob/gyn world before transitioning to functional-integrative-holistic medicine, and opening her own private practice. By bridging conventional medicine with complementary and alternative therapies, Dr. Kristy is able to support patients in their overall well-being with a heart-centered approach, and a genuine care for patient success. Dr. Kristy graduated from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming, with a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology. She then attended the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, for her medical degree. Dr. Kristy completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where she was chief resident. She returned to her hometown of Cheyenne in private practice as an OB/GYN, and then shifted to the mission of bringing integrative medicine to her hometown community. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a member of the Wyoming Medical Society and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Kristy has always been enthusiastic about health and wellness and she enjoys leading an active lifestyle and “walking the walk”, including spending time exercising, experiencing yoga and personal growth retreats, and enjoying time with family and friends and good (healthy) food. Her husband is an avid outdoorsman, and her son is a second year college student studying mechanical engineering.
